ABERDEEN, S.D. – Historian, author and humanities scholar Brad Tennant will present “When Local History Becomes American and World History” at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 10, in the Round Room of Williams Library on the campus of ý State University.

The event, which is free and open to the public, is part of the Art Buntin Local History Speaker Series, honoring the late Dr. Arthur Buntin. A longtime NSU history professor, Buntin devoted much of his research to local history.

This marks the second time ý has hosted the event. Tennant, a former Aberdeen resident and former history professor at Presentation College, has a distinguished record of historical research and preservation efforts. He will be introduced by Dr. Dave Grettler of the NSU history department.
